Its a textbook required for my Accounting 211 class. Not really a book I would seek out otherwise.FYI, with the exception a some page #s shifted, this book is just like the last (5th) edition, so if you're in a bind and have access to the 5th, just grab that one.
It will get you there, but there is not much information in here you could not learn from prior editions. I do wish there was an answer key in the back of the book, but that's where your professor comes in handy I suppose. Also, not the best value for a text book considering the tight budgets of college students.
My teacher didn't require us to have the hard copy of the book but I wanted to use it to be able to reference a physical copy while I was doing my homework. It worked for me. I definitely didn't want to buy it, so renting worked out for me.
Initially while waiting for my book I felt discouraged by all the negative comments from the website - now I am 60% through with my course at BU and I absolutely love the book! We are using it for the accounting half of the course plus Connect (but from the Ross book). Plus modules and live classroom materials. Put together, they make a challenging, but great course!
This doesn't come with the access code needed for an online class. Skip it and get the PDF version from McGraw online.
No access code was included and the “NEW†item was already opened with imperfections. Buyers beware!
